Why Listening?

Listening is a radical and transformative act. It can bring healing to individuals and ripple outward into our communities. It is a form of love and an antidote to what ails our modern world. Listening reminds us that we belong to one another.

I am passionate about listening because it has been deeply healing in my own life. Living with an invisible illness brought a profound sense of isolation, and I often found myself met with advice or minimization rather than true presence.

When I began to experience being deeply listened to, something shifted. I was able to process loss, cultivate self-compassion, and feel more connected to myself. As my nervous system settled, even physical healing began to unfold.

This is what led me to offer others the same kind of presence—through my work with individuals with special needs, seniors, hospice, and mental health support. I have seen how simply being with someone in a grounded, caring way can bring comfort, healing and growth.

I believe being truly heard is deeply healing, and I am committed to creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and able to reconnect with their own inner wisdom.
